APLE for District Interns
Do you still have outstanding Federal school loans? If your answer is yes, then be sure to take advantage of the state-funded Assumption Program of Loans for Education for District Interns (APLE) to assist you with paying up to $11,000 of those education loans. The APLE program is administered by the California Student Aid Commission (CSAC) and is designed to “encourage outstanding students to become teachers and serve in critical teacher shortage areas.” For more details, contact Project Pipeline or visit the CSAC website www.csac.ca.gov. If you do not have outstanding educational loans, then you are not eligible to apply to APLE. The APLE for District Interns does not cover Project Pipeline tuition.
